The superb panoramic view from the top of Minaun Heights is one of the highlights of anyone's visit to Achill Island.
A tarmac road allows you to drive up to a large parking area about 1km from the actual summit. From here you overlook Keel Beach with views to Croaghaun out to the west, to the south, you look over to Dooega and The Atlantic Drive. Inishbiggle is northeast, and Dugort is directly north of you. Minaun is the place to go to get a fabulous overview of the island. Enjoy.
