Bridget Gallagher was born on December 4, 1927 in the small Irish village of Dooagh, located on Achill Island. As a young woman, Bridget bravely came by herself on a boat to America to pursue her dreams. Unfortunately, Bridget was taken from this earth at a very young age, leaving three small children. Her youngest child, Maureen, opened Bridget Gallagher’s Irish Treasures to give honor to the life of her mother, Bridget Gallagher, so that the passion for her heritage would be shared and passed on for a lifetime. May her Irish spirit touch your heart forever!!
